Nature-first animal care
We care for rescued animals and the land together, healthy pastures, shade, clean water, and a slower rhythm that lets wildlife and sanctuary residents coexist in the Hill Country.
Austin's Farm Animal Sanctuary
We provide lifelong care for rescued horses, goats, sheep, chickens, and more — no breeding, no riding, no "working" animals. Just peace, space, and people who show up every day. 100% of your gift goes to the animals.
Sanctuary is more than shelter. It's a promise: we don't "fix and flip." We commit to lifelong care for every rescued animal.

Most places are designed for people first. This sanctuary is designed for hooves, paws, beaks, and curious noses. Shade. Grazing. Quiet. Space. And caretakers who show up every day.
Sanctuary isn't glamorous. It's hay in January, a farrier in the mud, a vet at 2am. Here's what your donation covers — every dollar goes to the animals.
$14
A bale of hay for the herd — the everyday fuel that keeps everyone fed.
$20
Higher-quality forage for residents who need a little extra nutrition.
$95
A big round bale that stretches across the pasture and buys time between deliveries.
$150
Hoof care for horses and other residents — one of the steady costs we never skip.
Give monthly — Monthly gifts are the reason we can say yes to the next rescue.
Donors give again when they see their gift landed. Here's what's happening on the ground.
One rescue became a direction. Then a mission. Then… the inevitable goat situation.
Hot Dog arrived needing stability, space, and consistent care. He has since passed but remains the spiritual leader of EcoValley, that first commitment reshaped everything.
Good fences, good shelter, good hay, and a calm routine. The basics of farm animal rescue aren't glamorous, they're everything.
Now the family includes rescued horses, goats, sheep, and even chickens. The goal stays the same: a life worth living, for every resident.
